Time of Sighting: 5:30 AM MDT
PHOTO & ENLARGEMENT OF BRIGHT OBLONG OBJECT SEEN BY WITNESS.
Description: I went outside around 5:30 AM and saw a bright light up in the sky to the Northwest. I went and grabbed my camera and took a few pictures, came back outside about 5 minutes later and took a few more. And then maybe 5 or 10 minutes later I took the last pictures. I could barely see the object by then. The pictures are all zoomed in as far as my camera would go. I couldn’t detect movement with my naked eye for the first pictures, but the last time I came outside to take a few more I noticed the light had moved quite a bit down and to the right. I have 6 more pictures. I could only could attach 2.
Note: A check of astronomical tables showed that no planets or the moon was visible at the time of the sighting. Also the amount of movement noted by the witness in a short period of time would eliminate celestial objects.
