Location of Sighting: Red Lodge, Montana
Date of Sighting: April 9, 2018
Time of Sighting: 9 PM MDT
Description: 4/9/2018 at PM in Northwest sky I saw 4 lights over the Beartooth Mountains in Red Lodge MT, There was one at the top and 2 on each side blinking on an off for at least 45 minutes and they were stationary. As time passed they seemed to be moving to the north. I called the UFO number that the sheriff’s office gave me. I called the number and they wanted a photo and I haven’t a camera. I feel sure it was something mechanical. As time passed it moved along the tops of the mountains until it dropped too low. Maybe the earth turning made it seem to be going north. My plan is to try to look at it tomorrow evening to see if it is still there.
Additional Information Sent by Witness: Yes, I saw it again last night? I will look again tonight, but we are expecting a huge snow and it is cloudy today so maybe not. I do not think it is a UFO, but something mechanical since it is stationary and has blinking lights on at least 2 of the 4 lights. However over the mountain chain there normally NOTHING so I have no idea what it could be. Thanks for answering.
