Description: I first noticed the object above the trees across the street from my house. It resembled a very large star, but close enough to light up the trees below them. It appeared that it was hovering just above the trees. Then it began to fade in and out and move from side to side and slightly up and down. I watched it for about 10 minutes trying to decide what it was. Then it moved very quickly to another location further away. It continued to get bright and dim, bright and dim. I then talked to my husband and he told me to get pictures. It was too far and behind the trees so I only got glimpses of it behind the leaves. Then some kids lit a fire work that went up into the sky in the apartment complex next door. Within 2 to 5 minutes the object was close again. This is when I took the pictures. It was between me and the houses down the street. The first picture I had was 3 lights that moved up and down, then all the lights disappeared and I got the picture of the red lights. The red lights were very briefly there, then the third picture (shown here) shows the white lights back on. It was one big light that seems to show the object itself, along with 2 other lights. However I believe the far right light is a street light. Then suddenly the whole thing was gone. I watched until daylight, and the mysterious lights never returned.
Comments: It appears that two of the lights in the above photo could be street lights. The identity of the larger light to the left is not known. The photo was taken with a cell phone camera of low pixel resolution. Therefore little refined analysis can be accomplished.
