Description: I was in the front yard trying to capture a picture of the cottonwood floating in the air. It was bright and I was only looking through my phone, not directly at the sky. I looked at my images immediately after taking them. I have a series of 3 shots all taken within seconds of each other. Picture #1 is a small orb rising from the northwest. It is small with no aura. Picture #2 is the orb increased in size surrounded by a green aura, surrounded by a rose colored aura. Picture #3 is a crisper version of picture #2.
MUFON Field Investigator Notes: After review of photographic evidence, it is noted that the object in question is a lens flare.
UFOS Northwest Comment: I am in total agreement with MUFON that the orb is not a real object, but a lens flare. Only one of the photos is shown in this report.
