The above map shows Hot Springs and Plains, MT where similar sightings occurred. Hot Springs is to the NE of Plains.
Description: The witness called on the day of her sighting. She had let her dog outside in the early morning hours. She noticed the very bright full moon in the western sky. She then saw a very bright large spherical object to the south. The object was high in the sky and was about 1/4 the size of the full moon. The object was hovering and didn’t move at all. The object was pulsating and varied colors between white, red and blue. Then the object would assume a yellow color and then start pulsating again. The witness said that the object was not on any adjoining mountains and was much higher in the sky. the object emitted no sound. The object was visible for about 15 minutes until a dark cloud covered it up. The witness was quite startled by the sighting and was wondering if there were any other reports. She said that a similar sighting had occurred in Plains, Montana a couple of weeks earlier.
Note: I spoke at length with the witness and she was quite baffled by what she saw. She was looking for an explanation and wanting to know if there were other reports.
